This Spring/Summer women's contemporary collection was inspired by a photo series by Mia-Jane Harris called "Beautiful Corpse." The photographs capture specific parts of a dead body in stunning hues and texture which were used as a platform for color and print design.

Researching further in the process of death and how a body is revived for funerals; embalming bodies was the prominent inspiration behind the silhouettes in the collection. Morticians embalm bodies and give them life again through fermaldehyde, makeup, etc. which is represented in the transformation from stiff, dull garments to voluminous ones.

Resuscitation was designed to represent that process visually.
